In October 2023, we held our first full concert with our new conductor Philipp Höning. The audience was enthusiastic, and we were delighted about with the successful performance! Philipp put together a fresh, diverse and entertaining program that was characterized by rousing rhythms, surprising time changes and melancholy melodies. These included “Five Ancient Hungarian Dances” by Ferenc Farkas, “Rikudim” by Jan van der Roost, “Dalmatian Dances” by Adolf Götz, “Orawa” by Wojciech Kilar and the well-known “Slavonic Dances” by Antonín Dvořák. The concert in the legendary concert hall of the University of the Arts was enriched by the wonderful clarinet sounds of our soloist Berkin Ayan.
